“Talk of the Town” Walking Tours

On the third Saturday of each month, the committee will host a fully acces-sible walking tour beginning at the Kent State University Hotel & Conference Center, including a segment of the Portage Hike & Bike Trail and a stop at The KENT Sign, then ending in Acorn Alley. The tour is for all ages and abilities, and is focused on shops, restaurants, activities, art and history tidbits in the downtown district. Walk along the 1.25 mile route and learn about what makes Kent special! The tour is perfect for visitors, new area residents, Kent State University employees, or anyone interested in learning more about where they live

Participation is free; but please register at https://ticketstripe.com/events/5430107158404900 so we know how many guests to expect. Route is wheelchair accessible and stroller friendly. Well-behaved pets welcome. Just meet outside the front entrance to the hotel near the steps and look for a volunteer in a Main Street Kent t-shirt.
