Time to order your FREE Portage County Road Trip Guide.

FUN FACT

The county gets its name from an Indian path called the “portage path”. An area that resided between the Cuyahoga and the Tuscarawas rivers.  Just like the “portage” between two rivers, both I-80, the Ohio turnpike and I-76 both run east and west through the northern and southern parts of the county. Can you say easy access?
