MILA’S HOPE AND ROWYN’S DREAM PLAYGROUND

PURE PASSIONS FARM

Just outside of Downtown Kent is Pure Passions Farm. This family-friendly farm opens its doors to the public so everyone has an opportunity to experience their big-eyed and curious alpacas, mini-donkeys, baby doll sheep as well as other farm animals. Special events are held throughout the year. Visit their website for an updated list of events and farm times. The hardest part is going to be leaving your new fury friends behind. The owners and staff are so knowledgeable as well as helpful.

WINGFOOT LAKE STATE PARK NATURE CENTER

Wingfoot Lake State Park is a perfect pack a picnic, the family and head out to enjoy nature kind of park. The park offers easy walkable trails, a Storybook Trail to enjoy with the family, picnic tables with views of the lake, fishing and kayaking opportunities, a disc golf course, and a wonderful Nature Center, where you can sometimes catch a glimpse of the Goodyear Blimp or bald eagles. The Nature Center hosts events throughout the year and share their events on the Facebook page. Admission is always FREE.
