Native Seed & Plant Swap &n Sowing Workshop

The event will be held in the Ode to Joy building on the club’s property, located at 480 Ravenna Rd. in Streetsboro, Ohio.

Winter sowing is for perennial native plants that require a period of cold stratification for their seeds to germinate. Bring a clean empty milk jug, razor blade type knife, twisty-ties and/or duct tape. A limited amount of seed starting soil will be available for $1 per pint.

The event is free and open to any native plant enthusiast who wants to come to Kent, Ohio. All plants and seeds must be native to our eco-region (Northeast Ohio). Participants will not charge or be charged for seeds and plants. Reservations not required. Questions should be directed to backyardpest@gmail.com
