10th Annual Octane Nights On Main Street Cruise In

The 10th Annual Octane Nights On Main Street Cruise In Ravenna, Ohio will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. We close down East Main Street for 1/2 mile and fill not only both sides of State Route 59 but also every business parking lot up and down the road. The road will be closed from Freedom Street (State Route 88) to GetGo (State Route 14). The event will start at 3:00 pm.

In the past we have been voted #1 Cruisin’ Times Magazines Best Downtown Event. In 2023 we had a car count of 5,000 cars with an estimated 18,000 spectators. We will “Rumble Ravenna” at 7:00 p.m. by asking everyone to start their engines in honor of the late founder of Octane Nights, Gary Krause, who passed away in 2020. Our DJ keeps us entertained by playing music throughout the evening. Bring the kids to watch Scott and his Ride4Life crew perform their Motorcycle Stunt Shows throughout the evening. We welcome classic cars & trucks, modern muscle & semi’s (No trailers due to space restrictions).

This is a rain or shine event. If you have supported our shows in the past you can attest to weathering torrential downpour storms together!
Last year we filled every nook and cranny of our half mile road closure by 4:00 and ended up doing a rolling cruise so everyone could at least see all of the cars. If you got lucky you were directed in to a parking spot when one opened up. Due to space restrictions we will not be able to accommodate more than 4,000 cars so you’ve got to get here early!! We are working on VIP parking again this year. These VIP spaces will be sold and will guarantee you a parking space so you won’t have to worry about being turned away once we are full. Last year was the first year we welcomed outside sponsorship and the response was incredible!! We will be doing that again this year!! This is a free family, friendly event – No tickets are required – Cars do not need to be preregistered unless you’re purchasing a VIP parking spot – NO ALCOHOL – NO GOLF CARTS – NO BICYCLES – NO ANIMALS
