Crafty Crawl Set for Sat., June 25, noon to 5pm

Main Street Kent is partnering with Bell Tower Brewing Co., MadCap Brew Co., North Water Brewing Co., and Zephyr Pub for the first ever Crafty Crawl on Sat., June 25. From noon to 5pm, each location will feature craft beers and a variety of local arts and crafts vendors, showcasing a total of 60 artists and dozens of delicious craft beers that day! There will be live music and food trucks at select locations, and Crafty Crawl canvas totes available for just $5, with a limited quantity available at each stop. During the event, participants can enter a grand prize raffle at each location. (Visit all four locations, get four chances to win! No purchase required.) Three prizes valued at $250 each will be raffled off after the event, on Tues., June 28. Prize bundles will include local brewery swag plus $100 Kent eGift Cards (which can be spent at 25 downtown businesses; full details at mainstreetkent.org/shop/the-kent-card).

Attendees can pick up a Crafty Crawl info card at any location to see what food trucks, live music and artists will be featured at each place, then spend the day enjoying craft beers and art in Kent. Details and updates will also be shared on Main Street Kent’s social media facebook.com/MainStreetKent/ and instagram.com/mainstreetkent/ as well as the MSK website mainstreetkent.org/events/crafty-crawl.

“We’re excited to have three fantastic breweries in Kent now, and this a fun way to showcase them, as well as the Kent art scene, in an “around town” kind of way. Plus, Zephyr Pub is known for their Zephyr Mart events, so we’re putting it all together to make one big, fun day of it! It’s something new for us, and we think people will love exploring some of the places they haven’t visited yet, finding arts and crafts treasures along the way,” shared Heather Malarcik, Executive Director for Main Street Kent.

Main Street Kent is a non-profit organization focused on the revitalization of downtown Kent. It is an affiliate of the national Main Street program and the Heritage Ohio program.
