Tree City Turkey Trot

It’s time for Kent Parks and Recreation’s annual Thanksgiving 5K Race and 1 mile Youth Fun Run! Begin your day of feasting by running in the rain, snow or shine on Thanksgiving morning. Bring a food item to benefit Kent Social Services and get a raffle ticket for a prize!

WHEN: Thursday, November 28th. The Fun Run begins at 9 a.m., the 5K Race begins promptly afterward.

WHERE: The races begin at the Kramer Field Bridge (600 Stow St.), go through the Portage Hike & Bike Trail, and end in Fred Fuller Park (497 Middlebury Rd.)

WHO:
Fun Run: 11 yrs. and under
Turkey Trot 5K: All age groups are welcome!

COST:
Prior to race $25 (resident), $33 (non resident)
Day of Race $30 (resident), $38 (non resident)
Fun Run $10

REQUIREMENTS: Dress for the weather!

DEADLINE: November 8 to be guaranteed a Turkey Trot hat
November 26 to register online
You may register at KPR Main Office until day of event

REGISTRATION: KPR Main Office, Online until Nov. 26
Day of Race Registration is from 8-8:45 a.m. at the Roy Smith Shelterhouse (601 Middlebury Rd)

Packet Pick-up: If pre-registered, pick up is Nov 26 & 27, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. at our KPR Office (497 Middlebury Rd.)

Food Drive– For every can of food you bring in, receive a raffle ticket for a give-away.
