Art & Wine Festival

Kent, Ohio – The Main Street Kent Art & Wine Festival will take place on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from noon to 9pm in downtown Kent. The event will feature over 50 local artists, 7 live music performances, 13 Ohio wineries, and 6 local food vendors on N. Water St. and at the Hometown Bank Plaza. (N. Water St. will be closed from Main St. to Portage St. from 8am until 11pm.) Live music will be performed at Hometown Bank Plaza and the Brewhouse Pub patio. At Hometown Bank Plaza, Randy Horvath at noon, Gage Brothers at 2pm, Flat Earth Ramblers at 4:30pm, and Conway Brothers at 7pm. At Brewhouse Pub patio, Gaetano’s Underworld Band at 1pm, Marilyn DeFrange Trio at 4pm, and Gregory Garwood Band at 7pm. Tickets will be available at the event for $20 each, which will include a commemorative wine glass and ten wine tasting tickets. Additional taste tickets will be available for $1 each. Only cash will be accepted (there are two nearby ATMs). No pets are permitted at this public event.

This year’s featured Ohio wineries include Cherry Road Winery, CLE Urban Winery, Deers Leap Winery, Funky Turtle Brewing, Gervasi Vineyard, Humble Bee Vineyard / Voodoo Wines, It’s Your Winery, Lincoln Way Vineyards, NautiVine Winery, Troutman Vineyard & Winery, Western Reserve Meadery, and Winery at Wolf Creek. Local food providers include Erie Street Kitchen, GRAZERS, Brook Homestyle BBQ, Popped!, Daisy Pops, and Southern Comfort Kitchen.

The Main Street Kent Art & Wine Festival is presented by Hometown Bank, Acorn Alley, The Portager, Hall-Green Agency, Auto-Owners Insurance, AMETEK, Marathon Financial Services, and Kent State University Ashtabula Viticulture & Enology. Proceeds will benefit Main Street Kent, the non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion, beautification and preservation of downtown Kent.

Main Street Kent is a non-profit organization focused on the revitalization of downtown Kent. It is an affiliate of the national Main Street program and the Heritage Ohio program.
