Main Street Kent Brings ‘Sweet’ Event Back to Kent

Cookie Walk Tickets Go On Sale Mon., Nov. 3

Kent, Ohio – On Sun., Dec. 7, from 11am to 4pm, Main Street Kent will host the fourth annual Cookie Walk in downtown Kent! Only 300 tickets will be available, beginning Nov. 3 at 8am, and a portion of proceeds will be shared with Kent Social Services in the spirit of the holiday season. Presented by Hall-Green Agency and sponsored by Acorn Alley and College Town Kent, this event will send guests on a tour of downtown Kent to collect specially-made holiday cookies at each stop. First, they will pick up a holiday-themed cookie tin and a Cookie Walk map at The Kent Stage during the check-in hours of 11am to 1pm, where there will be some outdoor festive music performances. Then, guests will head out to enjoy the day collecting cookies, having lunch, shopping, and even enjoying a DORA beverage if they like (adult beverages available “to go.”) Participating businesses will have special offerings for Cookie Walkers, including coupons for return visits and exclusive event-day discounts. Once the Cookie Walk tin is filled with deli-cious holiday cookies, it can be given as a gift or enjoyed on its own — however guests choose.

Participants include a variety or shops, restaurants, breweries and local organizations, all donat-ing specialty cookies in support of Main Street Kent and Kent Social Services: Taproot Catering, Silver & Scents, Emerson Consumer Care, Kent Free Library, Belleria Pizza & Italian, Tiger Rae Boutique, Laziza, Red Letter Day, Daisy Pops, Alley Mac, Bell Tower Brewing, Squirrel City Jewelers, Bent Tree Coffee, Game Day Coffee & Ice Cream, McKay Bricker Framing, Leaf, Board and Bevy, Barrio Tacos, DGerard Studios, North Water Brewing Co., Federales Street Ta-cos, Flourish Plant Mkt., Scribbles Coffee, Popped!, Nineteen 10 (inside Kent State Hotel), Al-ways Indie and Hall-Green Agency.
